Au Bon Climat Isabelle Pinot Noir 2019

Made from only the finest barrels of all the single vineyards – Jim has mentioned on occasion that this can never be a bad wine as he only takes the best –some years he makes less just because he would never sacrifice the caliber of this wine. Gorgeous fresh red berry fruits here with a sour cherry tart aroma becoming instant. It has this wonderful saline quality adding freshness which matches these great red floral aromas and flavours too. Crushed violets, cherry blossom and raspberry jam on the palate leading into the finish. Oh man, what a wine.
