This has been fermented and aged in new French Oak for 12 months. The nose has an instant strawberry and raspberry allure but the notes of cola, red plums, raspberry flowers, clove and star anise start to crawl out of the glass. The palate is silky with a rush of acidity. The new oak melds into the ripe fruit found here and it gives this wonderful thyme and rosemary oil bouquet.
Vintage sent will be the current vintage unless otherwise specified.
